The plastic blend in our Paige Pierce line of discs is very close to our ESP blend. The blend is a little more "pearly" than our ESP blend, though, and we just call it the "Pierce blend" here at Discraft.
First introduced in 2006, ESP plastic was created to bring an increased grip to premium plastic without sacrificing too much durability. It beats in to fly a touch more understable than Z plastic and is only slightly less durable. The tell-tale sign of ESP plastic is the opaque, pastel-colored appearance along with a stiff but slightly tacky grip.
DESCRIPTION:
The Passion is a Paige Pierce branded fairway driver with a straight flight and a unique flat outer rim configuration. It is very similar to the classic Discraft Cyclone but with less of a bead, tuning it for a straighter, more dependable flight for precision placement on the fairway.
