Discraft Athena is a control-oriented fairway driver designed for accuracy and consistency. 1 With a flight rating typically around 7/5/0/2, it emphasizes glide and a reliable fade at the end of the flight. 1 This makes it ideal for straight shots, forehand throws, and mild hyzer flips, providing players with a dependable workhorse for a variety of shots. The Athena excels in tighter fairways and windy conditions, offering control and predictability even when facing challenging circumstances.
The plastic blend in our Paul McBeth line of discs is very close to our ESP blend. The blend is a little more "pearly" than our ESP blend, though, and we just call it the "McBeth blend" here at Discraft.
First introduced in 2006, ESP plastic was created to bring an increased grip to premium plastic without sacrificing too much durability. It beats in to fly a touch more understable than Z plastic and is only slightly less durable. The tell-tale sign of ESP plastic is the opaque, pastel-colored appearance along with a stiff but slightly tacky grip.

This stamp design, created by Kelly 'kob' Baber of koboneart, is a powerful visual representation of spiritual renewal. Inspired by the biblical verse 2 Corinthians 5:17 ('Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.'), it features a phoenix rising from the ashes.
The phoenix, a mythical creature that regenerates from its own ashes, symbolizes the transformative power of faith. Just as the phoenix emerges anew, Christ's sacrifice offers us new life, demonstrating that no sin can hinder God's love and salvation. This design serves as a poignant reminder of the hope and redemption found in Christ.
This unique artwork is created to directly support Andrew Stocklin's 2025 disc golf tour. By acquiring this stamp design, you're not only acquiring a piece of inspiring art but also actively contributing to the success of a talented athlete pursuing his passion.
