DGA Sonar is a new Putt & Approach disc designed for overstable flight. Here are some key points:
Overstable flight path: This means the disc will resist turning over and fight back to the left at the end of its flight, even if you throw it on an anhyzer angle. This can be helpful for windy conditions or for approach shots where you need the disc to finish left.
Beaded rim: The rim of the disc has a small bead, which can provide a comfortable grip for some players.
Sonar is currently available in D-Line plastic and a limited edition ProLine Glow plastic. D-Line is a grippy, baseline plastic that is good for putting and approaching shots. ProLine Glow plastic is a durable plastic that glows in the dark, which can be helpful for playing in low-light conditions.
DGA Sonar is a good option for disc golfers who are looking for an overstable putter or approach disc.
DGA D-Line plastic is DGA’s most economical plastic blend and features superior tack and grip. The plastic is similar to RDGA plastic, but the discs are not all 150 grams in weight. Discs in D-Line plastic are beginner friendly because of the increased grip, but used by players of all skill levels.
