About The Art

Kent Schafer PDGA #22662 is a member of the DGA Ambassador Team and the first deaf disc golfer to be sponsored by DGA. As someone who uses American Sign Language as their primary language, it has been a thrill to do Steady Ed proud in growing the deaf disc golf community nationwide. This is the second Kent Schafer's DGA Deaf Series hot stamp artwork, designed by the deaf artist Tim Woodford. The artwork incorporates De'VIA (Deaf View/Image Art), a genre of visual art that intentionally represents the Deaf experience and Deaf Culture.
