ABOUT THE ART:
Justin Lago, a seasoned creator with an unconventional approach to art and design, has infused 20+ years of experience into crafting the "Elemental Bear" stamp for this season’s discs. His portfolio showcases his ability to blend thought-provoking graphics, vivid colors, and imaginative themes into one-of-a-kind creations.
The "Elemental Bear" stamp embodies the raw power and majestic nature of the great outdoors that is so integral to disc golf. Inspired by the elements, the design portrays a bear enveloped in flames, capturing the essence of fire's transformative energy — a perfect metaphor for the fierce spirit and passion we bring to the game.
MATERIAL:
Axiom's Prism Proton plastic combines the best of both worlds, offering the durability of Proton plastic with the vibrant, translucent colors of Prism plastic. Here's a breakdown of its key features:
Double-dose of Proton: Both the core and rim are made from Proton plastic, which is known for its high resistance to wear and tear. This makes Prism Proton discs ideal for tough courses and powerful throws.
Built to last: Expect a long, consistent flight life even after many rounds.
Withstands the elements: Its durability makes it a great choice for playing in all conditions, whether it's hot, cold, wet, or windy.
Excellent control: The Proton plastic offers a slightly grippy texture that provides confident handling in various weather conditions.
Candy colors: Choose from a wide range of bright, translucent colors that are easy to see on the course and add a touch of style to your bag.
Dual-toned effect: The combination of a Proton core and Prism rim can create a stunning two-tone appearance in certain discs.
Variable core materials: The core material can vary depending on the specific disc model, offering subtle differences in flight characteristics.
Axiom Prism Proton plastic is a premium choice for disc golfers who prioritize durability, grip, and vibrant colors without sacrificing flight performance. It's a versatile plastic that can handle a variety of throwing styles and courses, making it a valuable addition to any disc golf bag.
DESCRIPTION:
Axiom Pyro is an overstable midrange disc that was released in June 2019. It is Axiom's first overstable midrange disc, and it has quickly become a favorite among disc golfers of all skill levels.
Pyro has a speed of 5, a glide of 4, a turn of 0, and a fade of 2. This means that the Pyro will fly straight for most of its flight, but it will then have a reliable fade at the end. The Pyro is also very resistant to wind, making it a great choice for windy conditions.
Pyro is made in Axiom's Neutron and Proton plastics. Neutron is a grippy and durable plastic, while Proton is a slightly more stiff and slick plastic. Both plastics are very durable and will last for many rounds.
Pyro is a great disc for a variety of shots. It can be used for hyzer flips, forehands, and even rollers. It is also a great disc for tight tunnel shots and skip shots.
If you are looking for an overstable midrange disc that can handle anything you throw at it, the Axiom Pyro is a great option.
